- What is the difference
between your NS3016 SR20DE (aka:Gen VI) header and the regular NS3000
or NS3001 SE-R header? It is an entirely
different type of header. Although it was originally "baptized"
as a Gen VI, it is a completely diferent product. Our NS3016
header was designed strictly for racing purposes. It does not include
an AIV or EGR fitting where our NS3000-01 includes all necessary fittings
and will accomodate your AC.
- Will I be able to instal
my AC? This
header was designed on a race vehicle without AC because race only vehicles
do not have one. However, with some adjustments you should be able to
accomodate your AC.
- Will I pass emmissions with
this header? No you will not.
- Will I be able to hook up all
my sensors? No
- Do I need to modify my car if
I want to install your headers? Although this is a bolt-on
header, most race cars have had substancial modifications and therefore,
some work might be required.
- How much HP improvement should
I expect? 6-9 HP over
our NS3000-01 overall, about 19-20 HP over stock. This is
the most HP obtain by any other manufacturer.
- How do I get Hotshot Performance
decals? You can send a
self adressed, stamped envelope and specify your color preference. However,
if we don't have that color we will send you whatever is available.
- How long do I have to wait for
my header? Although all our products are 100% hand made (not
by robotics) this particular header is only produced by order and it
takes about five (5) weeks to produce. Not because it takes 5 weeks
to make, but because we have be scheduled into production.
