YOUR CAR, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES
Basic Installation Instructions
1. Allow car to cool for a few hours before attempting to work on manifolds
or exhaust system.
2. Raise vehicle and secure with jackstands or a lift. Be sure to soak all bolts,
nuts, fittings, etc with penetrating oil.
3. Disconnect positive battery cable from battery.
4. Remove heat shields from manifolds.
5.Remove cross member (6 bolts).
6. Unplug and remove O2 sensors from stock manifolds.
7. Remove y-connector pipe from stock manifolds.
8. Remove EGR tube from engine block.
9. Install new gaskets onto heads. install headers onto studs, and tighten.
Install O2 sensors into headers, and plug into harnesses.
10. Insert Y-pipe hanger rod into stock rubber hangers, and attach the 2 bolts
that connect to the stock cat. converter.
11. Using supplied bolts and gaskets, attach y-pipe to headers and tighen EVENLY.
Install supplied EGR tube into rear header and engine block.
12. Re-install cross member ( 6 Bolts).
13. Visually inspect all connections to make sure everything is connected, and
tightened securely. Re-connect battery and lower vehicle.
14. Start vehicle and check for leaks.
